JCAPPP (Youth Parenting Program)


JCAPPP – Jefferson County Adolescent Pregnancy and Parenting Program
    This program is attached to the ACHIEVE youth program.
   JCAPPP provides services for all Jefferson County pregnant teens.
   JCAPPP provides a variety of parenting classes including labor and delivery and nutrition.
   Child care services are available on site for our parenting teens.
Pre-requisites: students must be a teen parent or currently pregnant
McLain has a staff of dedicated and caring teachers, counselors, child care providers and administrators!

The McLain Infant / Toddler Childcare Center is a state-licensed center that provides childcare for JCAPPP students.
      There are currently five operating child care rooms with an age range from three weeks to three years old.
      The operating hours are from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
      The calendar follows the JeffersonCountySchool schedule.
      Fees are competitive and funds are accepted from Aspen, TANF or Family Service for          those who qualify.

      The McLain Childcare Center is located at McLain Community High School.
      Childcare Center Hours are:
      Monday – Thursday: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
      Friday: Hours vary
